Any form of gambling is to be monitored by a set of rules and regulations. Poker too has a set of rules associated with it in order to know how to play good poker. According to poker etiquette there are a certain set of actions that are considered improper. Deliberately acting out of turn, deliberately splashing chips into the pot, revealing the contents of a live hand when the betting is still alive, needlessly stopping the flow of the game are a few actions that are considered to be improper. It is essential that a poker player knows how the hands are ranked. The following is the description of various hands in poker in decreasing order of priority like in how to play free poker. Five of a kind is when a player has five cards of same kind and when there a tie, the person who has the higher card gets the pot. A straight flush is when one has five continually numbered cards of the same set. Four of a kind is simply when there are four cards of same rank. Full house is the next higher hand which consists of a three of a kind and a pair. A flush is when a player has five cards of the same suit. A straight is when a player has five continuous numbered cards irrespective of the suit. When two cards of the same rank are present it is called a pair. Lastly if none of the above hands occur the person who has the highest card wins the bet. It is important for every player of poker to be aware of all the rules and regulation and to abide by it.
